KoneKtor – Philanthropy East Forum

24-26 September 2023
SARAJEVO

Peace, Justice and the Promise of Democracy
What Did We (Not) Learn?

The 26th edition of KoneKtor – Philanthropy East Forum, formerly known as Grantmakers East Forum, “Peace, Justice, and the Promise of Democracy – What did we (not) learn?”, will be hosted by Mozaik Foundation in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the 24th-26th of September 2023.

During last years’ Forum in Warsaw we interactively examined the resilience of these actors from different topical angles. This year we will build upon the conversations on peace, justice and democracy, providing a platform to examine different perspectives and rethink the future. The Forum will offer a space to reflect upon both unsuccessful and successful practices in supporting CSOs defending democratic values, as “not all good intentions lead to good practices”.

Getting to Sarajevo:
This is a kind reminder to not only block your calendars for the Forum in September, but we also encourage you to book your travels to Sarajevo as soon as possible, as the direct flights from across Europe are limited.

The time is now for foundations to take a unanimous stand as stewards of civil society, support for social interaction, facilitators of citizen empowerment, promoters of democracy, and fundamental rights.

We look forward to welcoming you in Sarajevo!
