Call for participation – free cycle of workshops on the preparation and implementation of EU projects in Sarajevo (June 14-18, 2022)

We invite you to apply for a series of workshops on the preparation and implementation of projects funded by EU funds, which we plan to organize in Sarajevo, from June 14 to 18, 2022, from10 am to 6 pm.

UDD – Association for Democratic Society in partnership with the Association of Good with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia in the framework of international development cooperation organizes free cycles of educational seminars on preparation and implementation of EU-funded projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.

The first cycle of workshops was held in Mostar, and the third will be organized in October in Montenegro. We are planning the second five-day cycle of workshops in Sarajevo from June 14-18 June, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The sixth day of this cycle will be organized later in agreement with the participants. In the continuation of the project, the participants of the training will be enabled by providing individual support in the preparation and implementation of specific projects until the end of February 2023. Educational activities with customer support include seminars on the preparation and implementation of projects funded by EU funds with training for volunteers and volunteer management, and through the continuation of work by providing individual support to users online or live.

In the first part of the cycle, we will focus on problem analysis, stakeholders, logical matrix, detailed elaboration of activities and budgeting. In the second part, the focus will be on project management, on the role of volunteering in EU projects (the role and management of volunteers). After the workshops, the project manager and training provider will continue to provide support to users online (individual counseling, e-mail, live meetings or Zoom) so that users can successfully prepare or implement specific projects. Depending on the needs of the beneficiaries, the support will be related to providing information about open tenders, targeting a certain type of tender depending on the project idea, assistance in project development, commenting on prepared projects, assistance in project implementation, etc.

The education is intended for young people, representatives of the non-profit sector, representatives of cities and municipalities, academia, micro and medium entrepreneurs. A maximum of 3 people from each organization/institution/company can apply. Participants in the training were provided with lunch and refreshments during breaks. Participants who attend the training will receive certificates of participation.

The number of places at the workshop is limited, and the selection criterion is the order of applications. The application must state the name and surname, e-mail, name and contacts of the organization/institution/company/city you represent, possibly previous experience in EU projects. UDD will inform all applicants about the results to the e-mail address specified in the application form no later than June 6, and will select the selected candidates no later than June 10 about the location of the training and other practical information.
