The Municipality of Bosanska Krupa has provided 200,000 BAM in this year’s budget for farmers and agricultural producers. This is a slightly more concrete financial support compared to previous years, and the largest amount will be directed to spring sowing.
The municipality will, in accordance with the possibilities, at least to some extent, to amortize the consequences of bad weather conditions, i.e., prolonged winter.
“These days, the drafting of the Ordinance on municipal financial support for 2021 is nearly complete, and this year there will be no lack of support for farmers and agricultural producers. Around 130,000 BAM will be allocated for spring sowing. We are trying to support our farmers in the best possible way, especially taking into account the estimates that due to bad weather conditions the agricultural year will be somewhat worse than the previous one“, confirmed the competent municipal service.
Part of the budget funds intended for agriculture will be directed as support in the production of cucumbers – gherkins, raspberries, and greenhouse production.
Beekeeping in general will be supported, as this is a sector that has unfortunately suffered great damage in the last few years.
