The Institute for Youth Development KULT, in cooperation with the Salto Resource Center from Ljubljana, organized an online info session to present the current public call for Europe Goes Local intended for local government units to youth officials in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Within this call, interested local government units in Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to receive the support of the Salto SEE Resource Center in order to improve the creation and/or implementation of youth policies by introducing the European dimension of development.
Selected communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive practice examples and tools developed by the European Commission that they can apply, network with other communities in the Western Balkans, and receive expert consultations for specific measures and goals of youth policies that they implement or plan to implement in the community. At the same time, communities will have the opportunity to meet colleagues from EU countries, and learn more about the Erasmus Plus program and the European Solidarity Corps.
Youth officers have an intermediary function between administrative bodies and young people and ensure appropriate support for young people, youth umbrella bodies and other youth organizations. The Institute for Youth Development KULT regularly works with a large number of officers, providing them with support and information about programs and opportunities for training, as well as the development of youth policies.
Through cooperation with the Salto SEE Resource Center, we presented European youth programs to youth officers on several occasions.
