Sarajevo International Airport, as the host, and the Association “Marathon” Sarajevo as organizers are preparing the Runway Night Run – an event of great importance for the promotion of the city of Sarajevo as a tourist and sports destination.
The race will be held on August 18, starting at 24.00hrs, on a unique track, the runway of the airport, 5 kilometers long.
The Association, together with the Sarajevo International Airport, wants to send another beautiful image of Sarajevo to the world with the Runway Night Run race and once again Sarajevo will be part of the family of European and world capitals. Runway Night Run is another movement of boundaries in the sense of sports in a way that through recreational and entertainment content people are activated, and running is experienced as a social act.
“With spotlights, water greetings, excellent DJ in the fun zone, run or walk to the finish line and experience a unique sports experience in the first race of this type in BiH,” said the Association.
The number of places is limited, and a maximum of 700 runners can participate. So far, more than 400 participants have registered for this unique sporting event full of adrenaline. The Runway Night Run is a real challenge for both professionals and amateurs.
