Open call for applications: Active citizens – the strength of the local community!

Do you want to be the voice of your community? Are you interested in how to actively participate in decision-making processes in Žepč? If your answer is yes, then this training is the ideal opportunity for you!

We invite you to apply for participation in the interactive training on the use of consultation mechanisms in the local community. This time, we are organizing the training in Žepč, and it is extremely important for empowering citizens, but also organizations in the process of active participation in decision-making processes at the local level. We will also explore mechanisms for involving citizens in decision-making processes, and motivate you to apply this knowledge through practical exercises, as well as in public life.

What is important to us?

· Understanding the importance of citizen participation in the decision-making process.

· Getting to know the legal framework and standards for citizen participation.

· Training for the use of consultation mechanisms at the local level.

· Development of public advocacy and participation skills.

Citizen participation is key to the progress of our community. This training will give you the tools and confidence you need to take action and improve opportunities for all of us. In the following period, an invitation will be published for an additional 20 local communities. It’s time for proactive citizens!
