A video about Čapljina as one of the more attractive tourist destinations in BiH was recently published on the YouTube channel Fenomeni BiH.

The series “Fenomeni BiH”, which was created this year in the production of the Kap association, tried to bring Čapljina and its surroundings closer as a destination that you should definitely remember.

As stated at the beginning, Čapljina is located in the area of four rivers, namely Neretva, Trebižat, Bregava and Krupa. In addition, Čapljina has a rich historical heritage such as Počitelj, Gabela and Mogorjelom, and at the same time Hutovo blato is one of the richest wetland bird reserves in Europe.

“Capljina has a lot to offer. Whoever comes to Čapljina, if they come from the north, the first thing they see is our Počitelj. If you come from the south, there are Mogorjelo, Gabela and Hutovo blato,” said archaeologist Ivan Prce.

Tourist worker Neven Dragičević also talked about Čapljina, who spoke about the fact that it is a city on four rivers, and he mentioned one of the attractions that takes place on the Trebižat river, which is the canoe safari.

It is important to mention that Čapljina is located in the immediate vicinity of the border with Croatia and the Adriatic Sea, so it has a suitable Mediterranean climate.

“The tourist potential of Čapljina is exceptional. The positive side of the story is that due to its location, this city is in a way a crossroads for nearby destinations such as Kravice in Ljubuški and Međugorje, the main center to which ‘rivers’ of foreign tourists arrive”, they pointed out in this episode of the series called Phenomena of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
