On April 21, 2021, the Network for Building Peace, within the Snaga lokalnog project, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), organized the Networking Conference “Education in Focus”.
The conference was held online, and it gathered over 100 participants, representatives of educational institutions, representatives of civil sector, representatives of the business sector, academia, as well as 16 presenters.
The aim of the conference was to enable discussion and exchange of opinions and information on the topic (current state) of education in Bosnia and Herzegovina and to connect various actors for future partnerships and joint work on projects, actions and initiatives related to reforming and improving the education system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the conference, participants had the opportunity to discuss the role and current activities in the field of education and future plans and activities planned in this area. Special attention was dedicated to the importance of increasing the percentage of highly educated people and harmonization/connection of education and labor market.
