Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to apply for 1.5 billion KM intended for digitization

Bosnia and Herzegovina will be able to apply for KM 1.5 billion intended for digital transformation, which is a consequence of joining the “Digital Europe” program.

As announced by the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina, after the Council of Ministers supported joining this program, the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina did the same today.

“Bosnia and Herzegovina will no longer be the only country in the Western Balkans that is not a member of the ‘Digital Europe’ program.” By signing the agreement with the European Commission, interested citizens, non-governmental organizations, public administrations and companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the opportunity to apply for funds in the total amount of 1.5 billion KM”, explained Minister of Communications and Transport Edin Forto (NS).

According to him, in this way, significant support is given to the process of digital transformation in the interest of citizens and catching up with European standards in this area, announced the Ministry of Communications and Transport of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
