About the courses

Subsidized courses were created with the aim of making opportunities for non-formal education of citizens as a way to build a knowledge society in Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are realized thanks to activists involved in the work of the Center, and donor organizations that support program activities, such as the Tuzla Community Foundation and Olof Palme Center.

After the deadline, the candidates who applied and paid the participation fee will be informed about the dates of the classes. The courses will be held in the afternoon, twice a week.

It is planned that the courses will start during May, if the epidemiological measures allow for larger gatherings and the work of educational centers. All classes will be held in the premises of the Agora Center (Tuzla), at the address Maršala Tita 109 (across from Robot in the city center) or online if the epidemiological situation does not allow work in the classroom.

Price and payment method

The offered trainings in the spring cycle are subsidized, which means that the Agora Center covers 60-80% of the costs of the full price of the course, while the students pay the rest. To participate in the courses, participants will pay amounts stated in the course descriptions. Payments are made at the Association’s premises, at the address Maršala Tita 109. After payment of the participation fee, the registered candidates secure a place in the study group. The number of participants is limited.

Course/certificate recognition

After the completed course, participants will have the opportunity to take a test based on which they will receive a certificate from the Agora Center on participation in the course and a certain level of knowledge.
