ABOUT THE ORGANIZERS:
i-platform/i-diaspora aims to support and encourage the development of Bosnia and Herzegovina through the integration of BiH diaspora in Switzerland, gathering and exchanging information, connecting actors from both countries, creating synergies, encouraging and promoting initiatives that give or can contribute to the development of social, economic and cultural processes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In doing so, the i-platform does everything to build bridges between people, professions and common interests between Switzerland and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The South East European Youth Network (SEEYN) is a formal regional peace network of CSOs based in Sarajevo. It is home to 19 relevant member organizations from 12 South East European countries, more than 300 youth professionals, youth workers and youth activists, as well as more than 2,400 active volunteers. SEEYN aims to empower CSOs and young people in the SEE region to engage in peace and reconciliation, community development, economic empowerment and solidarity programs through capacity building, advocacy, social innovation development and cooperation.
WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Selected participants will have the opportunity to:
– Create a vision of the region in relation to the 2030 Agenda,
– Develop a regional innovation program to achieve this vision,
– Participate in the first phase of designing the Collaboration Balkanika program based on the principle of co-design, with the aim of creating innovative solutions to societal challenges,
– Develop competencies in the use of methodologies such as catalyst laboratory, platforms for dialogue and sociocracy,
– Exchange experiences with their counterparts from the Balkans and Switzerland, through a focus on future cooperation,
– Develop creative problem-solving skills,
– Improve intercultural competence
WHO CAN APPLY?
– Young people from: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and Albania.
– 18-30 years old.
– Young people who are motivated to contribute to the development of the new program and the exchange of experiences through the creative process,
– Those who are motivated to contribute to solving common challenges in the region and to cooperate with their colleagues.
