Under the auspices of the Municipality of Centar, and implemented by the Public Institution “Center for Sports and Recreation”, a free summer tennis school will be organized during June and July.
The tennis summer school is intended for students from the first to the ninth grade from the area of the municipality of Centar. Applications are made via the e-mail address sport@csrsa.ba with the indication “application for tennis school”, and vacancies are quickly filled.
The goal of the project is for the little ones to spend their vacation time actively playing sports, learn the basics of tennis and socialize with their peers on the Koševo tennis courts.
The project aims to animate as many children as possible and influence the controlled development and improvement of anthropomotor and functional abilities. Children need to be provided with conditions in order to spend the summer vacation in a meaningful way, and involvement in sports from the earliest days affects the proper development of psychomotor abilities.
Registered participants of the tennis school will be divided into groups according to age and will have one-hour training sessions three times a week.
The free summer tennis school starts on June 10, and will be held on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
