Another Bosnian goes on an expedition to Mount Everest

Representatives of the executive and legislative authorities of the Brčko District of BiH, Mayor Zijad Nišić, his deputy Anto Domić, Deputy President of the Assembly of the Brčko District of BiH Ivo Filipović, and the mayor’s adviser Lucija Hrgovčić, supported the intention and plan of Mirko Zečević-Tadić for the expedition to the highest peak in the world, Mount Everest .

Mirko Zečević-Tadić is determined to take on this challenge and has announced his planned departure in March 2025, where he will join a group of ten adventurers from different parts of the world.

“I have already climbed peaks like Kilimanjaro, and this year I am also planning a trip to the Dolomites and the Himalayas. The decision to head for Mount Everest stems from my passion for challenges and my love for nature. During this trip, I plan to document my experience through videos ,” said Zečević-Tadić.

Representatives of the government praised his achievements so far and promised the necessary support during the preparations and on the way to achieving his goal.

Mirko Zečević-Tadić is an invalid from the Homeland War who was killed during hostilities in the District.
