The Development Agency of Republika Srpska, in accordance with the Work Plan for 2022, is announcing a public call for participation in the Accelerator program which will be conducted in cooperation with the City of Trebinje, the Development Agency of Trebinje, Bileća Municipality and the Employment Bureau of Republika Srpska.
ABOUT THE ACCELERATOR PROGRAM
The Accelerator program is intended for business beginners whose business ideas are based on innovation, knowledge and new technologies and who have the potential to grow in the market.
The program provides support to beginners in business in order to realize their business idea, which includes:
- Free training during which participants gain the knowledge and skills needed for business success;
- Free advisory support to mentors with entrepreneurial experience and knowledge in certain areas;
- Cash prizes for the most successful business ideas;
- Support in finding additional sources of funding;
- Connecting with potential partners at home and abroad.
Apply if:
- You are creative and plan to start your own business in eastern Herzegovina;
- You have an innovative business idea but you do not have enough knowledge and/or financial resources to start your own business;
- You are ready to constantly learn and adopt best practices;
- You have or are building a promising team that is necessary to implement a business idea.
PARTICIPATION CRITERIA
- Citizens of Republika Srpska/Bosnia and Herzegovina or persons with an approved permanent residence in Bosnia and Herzegovina who have an innovative business idea;
- Individuals or teams who do not have a registered business and want to start their own business;
- Registered business entities that have been operating for less than 18 months.
Business ideas related to trade, catering, games of chance, financial intermediation, will not be considered.
Candidates can apply as stand-alone applicants or as a team. The same person cannot be a member of two teams, nor simultaneously submit an idea as an independent applicant and be a member of the team.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
All interested individuals can apply via the form that can be found on the website of the Development Agency of Republika Srpska www.rars-msp.org and the Entrepreneurial Portal of Republika Srpska www.preduzetnickiportalsrpske.net
The completed form must be submitted to e-mail: info@rars-msp.org no later than Tuesday, April 26, 2022, marked “Application for participation in the Accelerator Program”.
EVALUATION AND SELECTION OF PARTICIPANTS
The participant selection process consists of two phases:
- administrative verification of applications;
- presentation of selected business ideas that enter the acceleration program.
All eligible applicants will be invited to present a business idea to the business idea evaluation committee, when further program activities will be presented.
