The Una-Sana Canton government plans to provide 4 million BAM in incentives to small businesses

The Government of Una-Sana Canton (USC) supported the proposal of the Ministry of Economy on this year’s Program for Stimulating the Development of Small Business in the USC.

The program determines incentive measures and activities in order to achieve the goals of small business development, as well as priorities and criteria for stimulating the development of small business in accordance with available financial resources. 4 million BAM is planned for this Program.

The goal of the Program is to provide support to small businesses, individuals and legal entities, defined by the Law on Promoting Small Business Development registered within the production, production-service and service activities, in order to preserve, grow and develop small businesses in Una-Sana Canton, increasing employment, increasing production, quality and competitiveness of small businesses, increasing the number of small businesses, encouraging crafts, handicrafts and survival of traditional and old crafts, increasing the share of women, youth and people with disabilities in entrepreneurship, sustainable development and implementation of activities contribute to the implementation of measures envisaged by the Development Strategy of Una-Sana Canton 2021-2027.

The goals defined by this Program will be realized through measures to strengthen the competitiveness of small businesses – legal entities and incentives for crafts, said Minister of Economy Samra Mehic.
