The company SiM Impex Banja Luka, part of the LKQ corporation, donated 18,297 KM to the organization SOS Children’s Villages in BiH. The valuable donation will be aimed at covering part of the living expenses of one family from the SOS Children’s Village in Gračanica.
“By supporting the community in which we operate, we act in the direction of building a better and healthier society in which we live as a company, but also as employees in it. Our donation to help one family of the SOS Children’s Village, as well as support in the validation of that organization through CAF International, is in fact a concretization of what SiM Impex is guided by in its business, which is social responsibility. We hope for new opportunities to do good and help both those who need help and organizations that deal with humanity ,” Tatjana Pejaković, HR manager of SiM Impex, said on the occasion of the donation.
In addition to financial support for one family, the company SiM Impex initiated the validation of SOS Children’s Villages in BiH through CAF International, and thanks to the LKQ corporation, the organization was included in the due diligence process, i.e. in-depth analysis by CAF International. The process entails a detailed check of the operational elements of the organization such as procedures, management structures, annual financial statements, image, along with detailed checks of board members and managers. Partnerships with companies that equally respect standards and procedures are certainly important to the organization, taking care to act responsibly in all corporate processes, taking care of the community’s well-being.

The organization SOS Children’s Villages in Bosnia and Herzegovina has been providing care for children and youth without parental care for three decades, and through family strengthening programs it helps socially vulnerable families and works to prevent the separation of children from their families of origin.
