Non-carbonated natural mineral water SARA, in cooperation with Mercator stores, has launched a humanitarian action whose goal is to support the Meal for All project implemented by the Association Pomozi.ba. Thanks to this project, about 1000 meals are delivered every day from the local soup kitchens of the mentioned Association for those who need help the most, among whom is the largest number of old and ill people.
Anyone who wants to contribute to this action can do so by buying SARA water in Mercator partner stores in the period from September 7 – October 17, 2021, after which a part of the amount to support the Meal for All project will be set aside from each sold bottle.
“There are many people around us who are fighting for their existence, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made it even worse. Thanks to the Association Pomozi.ba, which provides them with free meals every day, about 1000 people in Bosnia and Herzegovina are not hungry, which speaks volumes about the importance of the Meal for All project. We are proud that SARA water has joined this humanitarian mission, which once again showed the company Sarajevski kiseljak has a lasting commitment to socially responsible business and care for the community in which it operates. We are also pleased to have found a partner in Mercator who shares the same values, and that together we will contribute to creating benefits for one of the most vulnerable categories of society. As part of the project “Meal for All”, in cooperation with several partner associations, the Association Pomozi.ba provides one meal a day for more than 1,000 socially disadvantaged people from Sarajevo, Ilijaš, Breza, Vareš, Visoko, Bihać, Bosanska Krupa and Otoka, Travnik, Vitez, Donji Vakuf, Skender Vakuf, Kotor Varoš, Prijedor and Bosanska Dubica.
“Our colleagues deliver one meal a day to our beneficiaries who are elderly, and ill. During the year, we distribute other food and hygiene items, furniture, household items and everything they need for a normal life to the users of the Meal for All project.
