  • Who can apply for the internship?

You can apply if you are 18-35 years old, want to improve your skills and gain (first) work experience. It is important that you can stay and work in Sarajevo for three months and that you look forward to having the opportunity to help young people realize their socially useful ideas or microbusiness.

  • What skills will I be able to acquire working as an intern?

Responsibility, efficiency, teamwork, multitasking, organizational skills, communication, creative writing, how to do monitoring and evaluation, coordination, promotion… We think there is no skill you want to improve without being able to find adequate activity for it.

  • What are the working hours?

You are expected to work 6 hours a day in the office, between 9 am and 3 pm. You agree with your colleagues from the office on planning and fulfilling your work obligations, and very often you will work outside the office, visiting one of our 52 YB communities, throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.

  • What are my obligations during the internship?

Work in Youth Bank is very dynamic and no day is the same! Sometimes you will have more administrative work, and sometimes you will spend the day communicating with young activists. The most interesting are certainly field trips, trainings and conferences for young people where you have the opportunity to discover Bosnia and Herzegovina and young people from different communities.
