The Mayor of Bosanski Petrovac, Mahmut Jukić, presented the Silver plaque of the Municipality to the Director General of the Institute for Youth Development KULT, Jasmin Bešić.
During the most difficult period of the COVID-19 virus pandemic in 2020, the Institute, together with partners, provided support to students from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina by donating computer equipment for uninterrupted monitoring of online classes. Donations also included children from Bosanski Petrovac, for which the Institute was awarded the Silver plaque.
Representatives of the Municipality and the Institute also used the meeting to discuss the living conditions of young people in the Municipality of Bosanski Petrovac, and potential future cooperation in the field of youth policy. The meeting was also attended by Nemanja Davidović, Chairman of the Municipal Council and a former participant of UMiDp (training for political leaders organized by the Institute), and Adnan Družić, Officer for Youth and Work with Non-Governmental Organizations.
Future cooperation between the Municipality and the Institute will be based on improving opportunities for young people and strengthening the youth sector in Bosanski Petrovac.
