The opening of the “House of Good” in the Sarajevo neighborhood Kovačići, at the address Šaćira Sikirića no. 8 will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 12 hrs. Please join us and find out more about new initiatives of Pomozi.ba.
Our wish is that, symbolically named, Pomozi.ba “House of Good” will be a gathering place for friends, partners, socially responsible companies and individuals, all who help people and communities. A place where we will find good solutions in synergy with each other, learn from each other, initiate sustainable solutions and initiate actions whose ultimate goal is to improve the quality of life of people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. A place from which we will strategically direct the huge desire of people to give their contribution, not only with money, but also with their knowledge, talent, effort and volunteer engagement.
We are already cooperating with numerous associations and organizations and we will continue to encourage the connection of humanitarians from all over Bosnia and Herzegovina and beyond in order to improve existing actions or create new ways of cooperation that can benefit everyone.
We will also present a new Pomozi.ba project – “Dobrota na kvadrat” – an ecological sewing room in which we sew new useful items from discarded textiles. We try to include volunteers, but also people in need who, after training, can earn some fund for the household budget.
The Pomozi.ba assistance department is also located in the “House of Good”, as well as a counseling center for psychological support to users.
In the afternoon and evening, and even on weekends, the “House of Good” will be active and open to other associations that may not have enough space, and need to have a meeting, workshop, education for its members or users.
