Locally led development is a key paving stone on BiH’s path to self-reliance. USAID/BiH Mission Director, Nancy Eslick, participated today at the second annual conference of USAID’s Local Works initiative that gathered local communities and organizations to become closer partners and work together on improving their communities. These people are champions who galvanize and sustain positive change for the citizens of BiH. USAID intends to help those local development organizations and citizens to work together, help each other, and learn from each other. We encourage local organizations, communities, and the private sector to work together to improve living conditions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
