PUBLIC CALL – participate in a two-day training and get grant funds

We invite women from ​​the City of Bijeljina area, who belong to one of the marginalized groups, to apply for two-day training that will be held in the period from December 1 – 2, 2021.

By participating in the training, the participants will, with the help of a consultant, get the opportunity to strengthen their self-confidence and develop a business idea, but also the opportunity to apply for grants in the form of goods and materials.

All participants who undergo training will have the opportunity to apply for the mentioned grant, while only 10 of them will be supported with the aim of developing and improving their own business in the maximum amount of up to € 1,200 without VAT, per family household.

The maximum number of participants in the training is 15.

Who can apply?

Women belonging to marginalized groups, women victims of violence, single mothers, women with disabilities or women who have a child or another member with a disability in their household, older women, unemployed women living and who will be able to participate. In this public call women who will perform the activity in a rural area on the territory of the Municipality of Bijeljina, which own their own land, are in the records of the Employment Bureau, beneficiaries of the Social Work, Center, women who have no other sources of income and all other marginalized women affected by the crisis caused by COVID-19 can participate. All applicants should have a residence in the municipality of the City of Bijeljina.

The deadline for applications is November 28, 2021.

The Public Call is part of the project “Mitigation of the consequences caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in the Roma community in the City of Bijeljina” implemented by the Association of Citizens “Otaharin”, as one of the partner organizations participating in the project “COVID-19 Nexus response for improvement of socio-economic situations of marginalized people in 6 countries of the Western Balkans” supported by CARE International in Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo and Austrian Development Cooperation.
