Sarajevo Open Centre invites you to the promotion of the publication „What is the gender of security? 20 years of Security Council Resolution 1325 “Women, Peace and Security” and its implementation in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH)”. The publication collects the work of 14 authors dealing with gender and security issues from several perspectives, and connects representatives of the academic community, the non-governmental sector and experts.
The promotion will be organized online (via the Zoom platform) on Tuesday, November 10, starting at 1 PM. Please confirm your attendance by registering.
The promotion will be moderated by Vanja Matić, Gender Officer, OSCE Mission to BiH. The editors of the publication Amila Ždralović and Mirela Rožajac Zučičić and authors Adnan Kadribašić and Lejla Balić will also attend the promotion.
The participants will also be addressed by Ambassador Kathleen Kavalec, Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, HE Johanna Strömquist, Swedish Ambassador to BiH, Samra Filipović Hadžiabdić, Director of the Agency for Gender Equality, and Emina Bošnjak, Director of the Sarajevo Open Centre.
