Project cycle management training

About the training

Project cycle management teaches us how to connect things into one logical whole, to arrange the steps of our work in a way that it is truly productive and meaningful. Project cycle management is mainly related to projects, but its function is, in fact, multidimensional, and we can apply it when creating our strategic plans, in human resource management, but also in everyday life using it as a tool to help us meet our needs easier and faster or solve problems.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, project cycle management is sometimes equated with project proposal writing, although this is only one part of project cycle management. That is why, this training introduces participants to the basic concepts of project cycle management and all its phases right at the beginning, showing them that you do not have to write a project to be part of the project cycle.

Within this topic, the basic definitions of the project and the project cycle will be given, and all its phases will be explained in detail. Thus, participants will learn which decisions and documents arise from each of the phases, and will have the opportunity to learn the basic principles on which the project cycle is based. The training is therefore intended for all participants who believe that their knowledge and experience in this area is at the basic or intermediate level, and which needs to be upgraded and supplemented with practical examples, exercises and interactive participation.

The training is intended for representatives of partner organizations that cooperate in the LocalWorks Program (USAID/LWCDA), the Human Rights Support Program (USAID/INSPIRE) or other USAID programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Given the current epidemiological situation, training is limited to 26 people. Submitting an application does not automatically mean that the person has been selected to participate in the training. Persons selected to participate will be notified by email.
