December 14, 2021

The Institute for Youth Development KULT invites civil society organizations to apply for a one-day event where the Institute will present tools for assessing and strengthening organizational capacity. The Institute has many years of experience in building and developing civil society in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as trust and cooperation with important international institutions, development agencies and donors. With more than 150 projects implemented in the past 20 years, the Institute offers its expertise and partnership in the development of organizational capacity.

During the event, representatives of the Institute will present the following tools:

  1. KULT/POK is an online self-assessment tool and assessment of organizational capacity, developed by the Institute. Methodologically, the tool was developed through 14 categories with a total of 90 indicators where the capacities of organizations are assessed on a scale from 1 to 4. KULT/POK consists of three phases: (I) self-assessment phase through which organizations go through themselves, (II) verification phase where organizations submit documentation to prove and justify their assessments from the first phase, and (III) the Institute Commission reviews, analyzes and verifies the submitted documentation, which serves as a basis for the preparation of specific recommendations and capacity building plans, created only for that organization. Organizations themselves decide at what stage they want to participate.
  2. Profibes is an online application for project accounting, developed by experts in project management and project finance, who have many years of experience in these areas. It is intended for both small organizations and organizations that implement large projects anywhere in the world. No software installation is required on the computer, and it can be used on any device connected to the Internet. All data is located on external servers that are repeatedly protected from unauthorized access and are regularly archived.
  3. Useful tips for social media management as well as forms for unique communication with the media and partners.

The event will take place on December 14, 2021 in Sarajevo, Hotel Hills (11th floor) starting at 11.00 hrs. The institute covers the costs of transportation, food, refreshments and work materials.
