Registrations are open for one of the largest women’s sports and recreational events, the traditional dm women’s race. The seventh race in a row this year will be held on June 1, 2024, starting at 11 a.m.
All interested competitors will run a well-known five-kilometer route on Sarajevo’s Wilson Promenade. The number of participants is limited, and applications are open from today, April 8 to 25, through the website www.dm-zenskautrka.ba .
The registration fee is 13 KM. The race will also have an additional value: participation in the race supports the donation of sanitary napkins to women in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“As a long-time advocate of healthy living and sports activities, dm is proud to once again organize the dm women’s race. This year, the participants of the race will run together on the Wilson Promenade and show once again that we can and should take care of physical as well as mental health. Participating in the dm women’s race is also an opportunity to help the community: This year, we will put a special focus on women’s menstrual health,” said Ajla Hadžić, Marketing Manager at dm.
The first ten fastest runners will win medals and will be awarded dm gift cards. For the winner of the 7th dm women’s race, the prize is a dm gift card worth 400 KM, for the second place dm gift card worth 300 KM, while for the third best time a gift card worth 200 KM is intended.
Runners who place from 4th to 10th place will be awarded dm gift cards in the amount of 50 KM.
Downloading the start package containing the dri fit shirt and start number will be possible during registration on the day of the race until 10 a.m., as well as on May 30, 2024, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on May 31, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 19 hours.
After the race, all participants will receive a gift – a checker with dm and partner products.
The seventh dm race will open its doors as early as 9:30 a.m., and until 2 p.m. attendees will enjoy outdoor entertainment, healthy snacks and parterre gifts. The company dm thought of the youngest this year as well, who will be able to have fun in the children’s corner.
