The word information comes from lat. Informare which means to inform. Information is the result of data analysis and organization in a way that creates new knowledge. Information becomes knowledge when it is interpreted or put into context or when meaning is added to it. Information is made up of organized data that is arranged for better understanding and comprehension. Data is viewed as source, raw material used as a potential resource for obtaining information, after analysis.
What do you and your organization do with the information and data you collect? How often do you have large quantities of information, which you cannot or do not know how to turn into information, or process, analyze and use it in a valuable way?
In order to discover the ways and models, thanks to which the data gains value and can be used multiple times, the Institute for Youth Development KULT, within the project Snaga lokalnog Capacity Development Activity (USAID), and with the support of USAID Bosnia and Herzegovina organizes an online workshop “Practical tips for data collection and processing”. The workshop will be held on July 27, 2021. The interactive workshop will be realized through the ZOOM platform in the period from 10:00 to 14:00 hrs.
The focus of the workshop is on providing practical advice, recommendations on conducting research, ways of collecting, processing and analyzing data. Participants will also have the opportunity to attend a presentation of tools and software used in data processing and analysis, such as Smartsheet, Google Forms, Limesurvey and others.
