Today, a delegation of the FBiH Government led by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić visited the Municipality of Iijaš to find out about the situation in that municipality.
Novalić said that the FBiH Government is intensifying visits to municipalities before the adoption of the budget for next year in order to identify the possible needs of local communities. He pointed out that he had discussed communal, economic, environmental and energy issues with the Mayor of Ilijaš, Akif Fazlić.
“The FBiH government will determine which of these is acceptable. This includes the construction of a substation through Elektroprijenos, which is already underway and which will provide enough electricity to Ilijaš, which is expanding,” said Novalić.
He added that they also discussed the issues of water supply and protection of the Misoča river basin, which supplies Ilijaš, and the problem of non-perspective assets of the FBiH Government in that municipality.
Fazlić stated that the issues he discussed with Novalić today are in the domain of further development of the municipality, and that they agreed on certain activities, including the signing of a contract for the construction of the third lane on the M18 highway.
He stressed that preparations for the opening of a new industrial zone in the municipality were also discussed.
Fazlić claims that the Municipality of Ilijaš has a certain economic growth, that they are building new halls, and that they are preparing everything so that the development trend can continue.
