➡️The Youth Center “Vermont”, within the project “Labor market and education system harmonization program – career guidance and counseling”, funded by the Brcko District Employment Bureau and the Brcko District Government, participates in various trainings related to education and future careers.
➡️In this regard, we are participating in the roundtable organized by the Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization – OeAD together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Tuzla Canton.
➡The roundtable participants were initially addressed by the Minister of Education of the Tuzla Canton, Mrs. Alisa Memić, and the Austrian Envoy for Education, OeAD, Mrs. Mara Ikić.
➡️The roundtable topic is the development and expansion of career guidance and counseling programs and the monitoring of trends and processes in the EU. Through participation in the roundtable, our goal is to harmonize the activities of our project “Labor market and education system harmonization program – career guidance and counseling” with RIGA recommendations for education through work.
➡️Vocational education and training have been in the process of continuous improvement and development since the adoption of the Copenhagen Declaration in 2002. The conclusions from Riga in 2015 also play a significant role in this process. In September 2021, presentation of the document Improving the quality and relevance of vocational education and training in Bosnia and Herzegovina based on the conclusions from Riga 2021 – 2030 was held in Sarajevo. On that occasion, experiences on current trends and priorities in vocational education and training in the EU were exchanged.
➡️The Austrian Agency for Education and Internationalization – OeAD, on this occasion emphasized that it supports the further development of the vocational education and training system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and within the conference offered support in its implementation.
