The share of domestic tourists in the total number of arrivals was 25 percent, and foreign tourists 75 percent.
Tourists spent 233,488 overnight stays in FBiH in June this year, which is 11.4 percent more than in June 2022, and 3.5 percent more than in May. The participation of domestic tourists in the total number of overnight stays was 25.4 percent, and foreign tourists 74.6 percent.
According to the type of accommodation facility, the largest number of overnight stays was realized within the category Hotels and similar accommodation with a participation of 95.8 percent, according to data from the Federal Bureau of Statistics.
In the structure of overnight stays by foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were made by tourists from: Turkey (12.4 percent), Croatia (8.9 percent), Germany (5.7 percent), Poland (5.6 percent) and the USA (5. 3 percent) which is a total of 37.9 percent. Tourists from other countries accounted for 62.1 percent of overnight stays.
The number of available beds in June 2023 in FBiH was 30,304, which is 0.2 percent more than in June 2022. The net occupancy rate of beds for the type of hotels and similar accommodation in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was 28.5 percent in June.
