The USAID Diaspora Invest project, a five-year USAID-funded project, is currently seeking an intern.

Duration of internship: 60 days in the period from June 1 to September 30, 2024.
The USAID Diaspora Invest project, which began in October 2022, works to attract and facilitate diaspora investments and expertise in local communities, provide financial and technical support to diaspora investors, transfer diaspora knowledge back to the country, and expand access to finance for SMEs diaspora-related and local SMEs. This five-year project worth 15.7 million dollars is implemented by Financial Markets International, Inc.
Project intern duties include project implementation, research, communication and business development. The intern will provide support to the technical team in the implementation of activities that will be agreed on a weekly basis and prioritized together with the intern’s supervisor. The project internship will provide the intern with valuable experience in various aspects of working with an experienced team of international development experts, which will contribute to the sustainability of the project’s impact through a new generation of business and development experts.
