The last Friday in November, known as Black Friday, has been celebrated by dm for several years as Giving Friday. So this year, he invites his customers to 29.11. make a purchase in dm stores or on the dm online shop, and 5% of the total turnover on that day will be donated to soup kitchens throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Last year alone, dm donated 9,777 meals to 24 kitchens throughout BiH.
“Giving Friday is a story that has been going on since 2019. Since then, we have donated 218,129 KM to support soup kitchens throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina. These funds provided 42,653 meals for the most vulnerable groups in society. That’s why this year we invite all citizens to join the Giving Friday initiative, because we believe that together we can make a difference in the lives of those in need” , said Ajla Hadžić, marketing manager of dm in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The donation will be realized during December, when dm employees will participate in the preparation and distribution of meals, performing socially useful work.
