Concert for the preservation of the Balkan rivers: Darko Rundek & Ekipa and Partybreakers in Banja Luka

Partybreakers and Darko Rundek & Ekipa will perform at the Kastel in Banja Luka on September 25 at 8 p.m. The concert is organized by the Center for the Environment within the regional campaign “Let’s save the blue heart of Europe”.

The campaign “Save the blue heart of Europe” was launched by the European organizations EuroNatur and Riverwatch, in cooperation with local partners in the Balkans, and it is coordinated by the Center for the Environment Banja Luka.

In support of the fight to preserve the rivers, entrance to the concert will be free.

Darko Rundek and Zoran Kostić Cane (Partibrejkers) are one of the first artists in the region to raise their voices to save the Balkan rivers and join the campaign “Artists for Balkan Rivers” aimed at spreading awareness about alarming plans to build over 3,000 small hydropower plants on rivers in the wider Balkans, of which over 400 are planned or are already under construction in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Concert for the Balkan rivers will be held under the slogan “Freedom for rivers!” will be a music and activist event that will bring together activists from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region who are fighting to preserve rivers and waters in their countries.

“We invite all people to join us on September 25 at Kastel, to raise their voices for the salvation of our rivers, to send a clear message to the whole world together with Partybreakers, Rundek and his team: We will fight for the last wild rivers in Europe and will not let our rivers serve the interests of individuals! We do not want robbery, we do not give rivers!”, they say from the Center for the Environment.
