Education is a key development factor for every person and community. Without investing in education, we cannot expect progress. How much and what are we currently investing in? Who are the leaders of the education reform process? What are the existing needs and opportunities? How and in what forms can civil society (NGOs, trade unions and the media) as well as the business sector be involved in the existing reform processes of pre-school, primary, secondary and higher education and make their capacities available? In particular, what can we do now to support the education of children and youth during the COVID-19 pandemic and address the large number of emerging needs and problems?
