In Sarajevo on June 5 and 6, 2024, the second edition of the International Conference “Waste-Resource for the Development of Circular Economy in BiH” will be held.
The organizers of the event are the Chamber of Commerce of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the consulting company nLogic Advisory.
“In addition to the lectures, the two-day conference will encourage dialogue about the pressing problems in BiH and will include the technical aspect of waste management, the latest technologies that can speed up the path to a circular economy and a greener future will be presented,” says Sendžana Muslić, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of FBiH.
After last year’s extremely successful edition, which gathered in one place decision-makers at all levels, experts who advise decision-makers, entrepreneurs, financiers, public utility companies, representatives of the non-governmental sector and the media, this year visitors from the countries of the region and Southeast Europe are expected.
“We are pleased to enable all the key actors of this story in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the region, to hear panel discussions and lectures by top experts in one place. Achieving sustainable waste management can be extremely difficult, but reducing the amount of waste and increasing the efficiency in the use of resources are very possible and are already being implemented”, says Emina Čelebić Mravović, nLogic Advisory.
