Rolify and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the University of Sarajevo (ETF) proudly announce the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation, the aim of which is to bring ETF activities closer together through the Rolify community, with a special focus on the new direction “Data Science and AI” (DSAI). This cooperation will include the organization of workshops and other educational activities that will enable students to acquire valuable knowledge and skills in these key technological areas.
ETF, the oldest and largest higher education institution in Bosnia and Herzegovina that trains personnel in various fields of electrical engineering and computer science, continuously strives to improve its educational activity and promote science and technology. In this spirit, the faculty proudly announces the launch of a new undergraduate study program in English called “Data Science and Artificial Intelligence” (DSAI).
DSAI program: An innovative approach to education
DSAI is a three-year undergraduate degree program offering innovative courses in data science and artificial intelligence. The program is designed to provide students with the fundamental knowledge, practical skills and theoretical understanding of key concepts in these increasingly important areas of technology. Through advanced courses in artificial intelligence, machine learning, data analysis, deep learning, probability, statistics, and applied mathematics, students will gain a deeper understanding of the complex methods and algorithms used in data analysis and interpretation, as well as in the development of intelligent software solutions.
One of the key goals of the DSAI program is to create a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity and innovation, preparing students for successful careers in various sectors. Several courses are specifically designed to encourage innovation in students and introduce them to the legal, ethical and social aspects associated with artificial intelligence. The realization of these courses is planned in cooperation with other members of the University of Sarajevo, including the Faculty of Economics, Law and Philosophy.
