For our international projects with the Western Balkans in the field of history and memory, we are looking for students or other interested persons from 1 September 2022 for the following tasks :
1) Project assistant for 10 hours per week
2) Finance assistant for 10 hours per week
Crossborder factory is a European think-and-do-tank, based in Berlin and with an office in Sarajevo, which works as a non-profit organisation for the development of intercultural competence and European commitment, and in particular carries out international educational and research activities in the Franco-German area and the Western Balkans.
1) Project assistant, for 10 hours per week
Tasks: Assistance for project coordination ; Preparation, organisation and follow-up of workshops, conferences and other project activities ; Support for content-related research ; Editorial activities.
Requirements: Experience in international project assistance ; Interest in topics of remembrance culture and international issues ; Very good German and English language skills ; Language skills in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and/or in French are advantageous ; Very good Office skills ; Ability to work in a team, flexibility, commitment, diligence and reliability.
We offer: Work in an international team ; Flexible working hours ; Possibility to work in home office and (in case applicant is living in Berlin) also in our office in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
The workload is approx. 40 hours per month. Remuneration is on a fee basis. The position is foreseen to start on 1 September 2022, for twelve months, with possible extension.
2) Finance Assistant, for 10 hours per week
Tasks: Bookkeeping and accounting for international project activities
Requirements: Experience in accounting and billing for international projects ; Very good German and English language skills ; Language skills in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and/or in French are advantageous ; Ability to work in a team, flexibility, commitment, diligence and reliability.
We offer: Work in an international team ; Flexible working hours ; Possibility to work in home office and (in case applicant is living in Berlin) also in our office in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg.
