Youth Council: Applications for the youth incubator are open

The Youth Council of Federation of BiH, the Youth Council of Republika Srpska and the Council/Youth Council of Brčko District of BiH are announcing a Call for participation in the Youth Incubator – Capacity Building Program for Youth Organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is intended for:

  • youth organizations
  • youth councils,
  • organizations working with young people.

Youth Incubator – a program for capacity building of youth organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina is designed as a modular training program, accompanied by mentoring support to participating organizations. The goal of the program itself is to provide organizations that work with young people or are, by their nature, youth organizations, a set of tools in the field that we have recognized as the most important for the normal functioning of an organization.

Namely, it is noticeable that a large number of organizations do not have developed work system with young people (which are thematically profiled and program-oriented), there are no clearly defined rules and procedures that make daily functioning difficult and reduce the possibility of applying for funds and grants from donors.

Participating organizations will acquire knowledge and skills in the following areas through four modules:

Module I Youth organization and work with young people (March 26-28, 2021)

Module II Organizational Management and Financial-Administrative Procedures (April 23-26, 2021)

Module III Project Cycle Management (28-30.05.2021.)

Module IV Advocacy and Lobbying (June 25-27, 2021)

The schedule of the module is not final and the umbrella of youth organizations reserve the right to change it in case of emergency.

All applicants have to fill in the online application form. The applicant may also submit additional documentation that he/she considers may be important when scoring the received applications.

Umbrella of youth organizations leaves the possibility of conducting interviews with organizations interested in the program. An agreement on joining the program will be signed with the selected organizations. With this agreement, the participating organizations will take on the obligation to participate in the program and delegate their representatives to the thematic modules. Participating organizations will be present in the thematic modules with two representatives (organizations are given the opportunity to change participants depending on the interest of their members in the program itself, but they take on a commitment to have their two representatives present in each module).

The call will be open until March 10, 2021 at 23:59.
