The Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler, and the Mayor of Konjic, Osman Ćatić, on Friday unveiled a plaque in the Vrtaljica Nature Park with the signatures of all ambassadors who attended the EU flag raising ceremony and the opening of the Vrtaljica viewpoint on May 7 in honor of Europe Day.
In this way, the locality of the viewpoint will remain a lasting memory for the citizens of Konjic and all those who come with an open heart to the city dedicated to the preservation of rich cultural and natural heritage, to mark Europe Day in Konjic, announced the City of Konjic.
Ambassador Sattler said that Konjic holds a special place in his heart. In addition to numerous projects financed by the EU in Konjic, Sattler added that the unveiling of the plaque on the beautiful viewpoint with the signatures of all the ambassadors of the EU member states is another confirmation of excellent cooperation with the City.
Mayor Ćatić expressed his satisfaction with the series of joint activities with which the European Union in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the City of Konjic marked Europe Day with the participation of young people from Konjic.

It was an exceptional honor for us to host the ambassadors of the European Union countries in Bosnia and Herzegovina, led by Mr. Sattler, in order to represent the natural and cultural values of Konjic and our homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina, together to mark the Days of Europe with the slogan ‘Konjic in the heart of Europe'”, r Ćatić was waiting.
He wished Ambassador Sattler good luck in the future, with the desire to continue building bridges of friendship and to make the life of the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Europe and the world more pleasant, meaningful and better through their active activities.
After the ceremonial act of unveiling the plaque, Ćatić presented Sattler with a certificate of gratitude for the support provided in the realization of the aspirations of Bosnia and Herzegovina. citizens to join the European Union, as well as for engagement in the process of opening negotiations so that young people can live in European Bosnia and Herzegovina and have a more prosperous and secure future.
