Yesterday, a cleanup action was held in order to clean the surroundings of the landfill in Uborak, during which the citizens picked up the scattered waste, blown away by the wind and set up benches and planted trees.
Activists of the “Jer nas se tiče” initiative, the day after, informed the public that the newly planted trees had been destroyed.
“Someone destroyed the trees planted yesterday and you can see in the pictures what we found today.
This is an extremely shameful and catastrophic act, which could only have been done by a very evil person who should be ashamed!
“Citizens have replanted trees and we hope that this primitive and sick behavior will not happen again!”, stated the representatives of the Initiative “Jer nas se tiče”.
