The EU funds and project cycle management training aims to improve the knowledge of the participants in the field of preparing and writing project proposals for public calls that are announced within the framework of European Union funds, which are available to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In 1992, the European Commission adopted Project Cycle Management as a basic group of tools for creating and managing projects, based on a logical matrix approach. The goal was to improve the quality of projects, taking into account their relevance, feasibility and achievement of goals.
Project cycle management teaches us how to connect things into a logical whole, and how to arrange the steps of our work in such a way that it is truly productive and meaningful.
Funds from EU funds are closely linked to projects that bring concrete and visible changes in the everyday life of the citizens of BiH. European funds apply strict rules to ensure that money is spent in a transparent and responsible manner, and the use of funds is under constant supervision. It is very important to know the rules, procedures and flows of the project cycle of projects financed by EU funds.
The training will provide the participants with the basic definitions of the project and the project cycle, and will explain all its phases in detail. Thus, the participants will find out which decisions and documents result from each of the phases, and will have the opportunity to learn about the basic principles on which the project cycle rests.
The training is intended for people from partner organizations that cooperate on the Human Rights Protection Support Program (USAID/INSPIRE), Local Power (USAID/LWCDA) or other USAID programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Training is limited to 26 people. Submitting an application does not automatically mean that the person has been selected to participate in the training.
