In the Bugojno Vocational High School in Bosnia and Herzegovina, a cabinet for CNC machine operators was officially opened thanks to the help of the Turkish Agency for Cooperation and Coordination (TIKA), reports Anadolu.
This is a project that TIKA implemented in cooperation with the Bugojno Vocational Secondary School.
The goal of the project is to contribute to professional education in a school that has mechanical, electrical, traffic and trade courses and where more than 360 students study.
The ceremonial opening of the cabinet was attended by the Minister of Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Central Bosnia Canton Amir Šećibović, Mayor of Bugojno Municipality Hasan Ajkunić, TIKA Coordinator for BiH Erdinc Isik, Director of Vocational High School Bugojno Salih Gurbeta, teachers and students.
Minister Šećibović stated that thanks to this project, students will contribute to the production sector and the economy in Bosnia and Herzegovina as qualified staff after graduating from high school.
He expressed his gratitude to TIKA, noting that this project will contribute to employment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that this certainly represents a significant investment in the future of young people.
Chief Ajkunić stated that he is very satisfied with the cooperation with TIKA, adding that the Bugojno Vocational High School now has the most modern cabinet for operators of CNC machines in the region, which will enable young people to improve and secure a brighter future for themselves.
