I am more than happy to inform you that the Youth Council of the Federation of BiH joined lonac.pro and our partners today. The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the Startup Studio in Sarajevo was attended by the President of the Council, Asja Dizdarević and the Secretary General of the Council, Nedim Alibegović, and myself, Sejdefa Bašić, Director of collective impact of the Mozaik Foundation.
If you don’t already know about the Council, here are a few facts: The Youth Council of FBiH is an open, umbrella platform where young people can articulate their problems and needs more clearly and loudly to those who need to create an environment for healthy youth growth and development. Through its structure, the Council brings together a large number of youth organizations in the Federation of BiH, and through its work ensures that young people fully decide on important issues.
I regularly follow the work of the Council, especially the initiative Fakat je vakat za mlade, which was launched by the Youth Council of FBiH and implemented in cooperation with the Youth Council of Republika Srpska and the Youth Council of Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the aim of creating better living conditions for young people in BiH, strengthening their rights, intensifying cooperation between youth council structures and strengthening the youth sector.
I am glad that our community will be a place through which the Youth Council of FBiH will be able to communicate faster and easier with a large number of young people in our country and have a direct picture of their needs in the fields of entrepreneurship, employment, education and activism.
