Application process
In the first phase, all interested candidates from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Croatia can apply by filling out this form. The team should consist of a minimum of two and a maximum of four members, and applications can be submitted until May 9.
Preparations for participation
The selected teams will be informed about the participation and training dates by e-mail, and then enter the training process within which they will acquire the necessary knowledge to work on challenges and participate in the program. The BIZ Hackathon will take place in mid-June.
Trainings within the training will deal with the following topics:
- Design Thinking – A method that enables the launch of new products, companies or services that are targeted at users. Each of the five phases of Design Thinking will be presented in detail and explained through practical examples;
- Business Model – During the training, each of the nine segments of the business model, defined by Alexander Osterwalder, creator of the Canvas Business Model, will be explained in detail.
What will BIZ Hackathon look like?
On the first day of the Hackathon, teams will have the opportunity to get to know the challenges in more detail and start finding the ideal solution for the chosen challenge. Along the way, the teams will have mentors at their disposal who will provide them with full support and give suggestions for improving their conceptual solution. The teams will continue their work on the second day, after which they will present the final solution to an expert jury that will select the winning teams and award valuable prizes.
What is your role in BIZ Hackathon?
You are required to:
- Choose a challenge according to your interests;
- Develop a solution for the selected challenge using the presented tools and the acquired knowledge from the realized trainings;
- Present the solution to an expert jury;
- Bring good mood to the trainings and to the event itself, and enjoy the creative process
