The USAID project “Diaspora Invest” has published a new call for applications for small grants intended for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Bosnia and Herzegovina that are owned by the diaspora or have a connection with the BiH diaspora.
This call is open to companies registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which are not older than 3 years and have a demonstrable connection with the diaspora, either through ownership, co-ownership or a verified business partnership.
“Small grants will be awarded for activities that have the greatest potential to achieve results such as: creating new jobs, increasing direct investments from the diaspora, stimulating business growth through increasing sales and/or exports, and introducing new products and/or services for domestic and export markets. The goal of this call is to support projects that can bring significant economic development and improve business. All qualified candidates are invited to apply under this call. The RFA document with detailed information about the application process is available on the official website. Also, the application form is available in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian as well as in English on the website: http://www.grant.diasporainvest.ba/ “, added the Project.
In the coming period, information sessions are planned throughout the country, where all those interested will have the opportunity to learn more about the program.
“To participate in information sessions, you need to register by filling out the form at https://bit.ly/usaid-infosesije . Take advantage of this opportunity and apply in time to ensure your chance for a grant and improvement of your business”, concludes the Project.
