On Friday, the Federal Minister of Environment and Tourism, Edita Djapo, had a working visit to Bihać, where she met with the Prime Minister of the Una-Sana Canton, Mustafa Ruznic.
Strategic activities in the field of tourism development were discussed, as well as activities that will be undertaken in the field of environmental protection, with the aim to solve the problem of waste disposal.
“The Una-Sana Canton government, through the Ministry of Economy, will invest two million BAM this year for the tourism development,” the Una-Sana Canton Prime Minister pointed out.
The meeting was also attended by Lejla Bakrac, Vice-Chair of the Bihac City Council and Jasmin Emric, Member of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament.
The interviewees unanimously pointed out that the Federal Ministry of Environment and Tourism has recognized and supported projects important for this canton and that quality cooperation of all levels of government is necessary to implement projects and promote potential for tourism development in this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
