The Tuzla Community Foundation is marking International Youth Day: Young people are sending `messages in a bottle` to the authorities

The Tuzla Community Foundation will mark the International Youth Day (August 12, 2021) at 11:00 am in the Cafe bar Sloboda. Through informal socializing and a relaxed atmosphere, young people from the Tuzla Community Foundation’s Youth Bank and numerous activists from local youth associations will exchange opinions and ideas, and send `messages in a bottle` to the authorities.

As every year, by marking the International Youth Day, we want to draw attention to young people and the complex problems that young people face today. Additionally, we also want to send a message to everyone that it is necessary to invest more in youth and work with young people to create an affirmative environment in which young people want to stay.

In order to ensure the preconditions for systematic intersectoral work in this area, on the same day at 08:30 in the premises of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth of Tuzla Canton we will sign a Memorandum of Partnership and Strategic Cooperation with these the two institutions, with the aim of improving the position of young people in Tuzla Canton. The signing will be attended by the executive director of Tuzla Community Foundation, Jasna Jašarević, and the cantonal minister, Zlatan Muratović.

International Youth Day is also a day when the achievements of young people in the world are celebrated, and their participation in society is encouraged. Therefore, on this occasion, we invite all young people, but also representatives of the seventh force to join us and be the voice of the youth, the future of our country.
