On Tuesday, the Novi Travnik Municipal Council adopted the Decision on the establishment of the Novi Travnik Tourist Board.
As announced by this municipality, the Tourist Board of the Municipality of Novi Travnik was founded for the purpose of developing and promoting tourism in the area of the Municipality, as well as the economic interests of legal and natural persons who provide catering and other tourist services or perform other activities directly related to tourism.
According to the Decision unanimously adopted by the Novi Travnik Municipal Council at the 27th regular session, it is evident that the goals of the Novi Travnik Tourist Board include improving the overall tourist offer, raising the quality of tourist services and creating a recognizable tourist environment.
Also, the goals include developing awareness of the importance of tourism, encouraging environmental conservation, and promoting tourist products and infrastructure in the area of Novi Travnik.
Stjepan Dujo, head of the Novi Travnik Municipality, expressed his gratitude to the councilors for unanimously accepting his efforts and recognizing the importance of the establishment of the Tourist Board, believing that this institution can strengthen the offer of this region.
Preparatory activities for the establishment of the Tourist Board and the convening of the Founding Assembly will be carried out by the competent services, in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Tourist Boards and Tourism Promotion.
The Tourist Boards of Jajce and Travnik are active in the Central Bosnian Canton. The municipality of Kreševo is also in the process of registration.
