The Institute for Youth Development KULT is committed to developing and improving its own capacities so that it can ultimately provide additional support to civil society organizations and their development. The result of such efforts is the development of POK™ methodology that will be used to determine the index of organizational capacity development. This assessment is important to give organizations clear guidance for further action, strategic planning and self-development.
Organizations that do not invest resources in their constant growth and development are not aware of the risk they are taking. There are also those organizations that very responsibly take care of their survival for the sake of their users. One of them is the Association for psycho-social support and better future „Progres“ from Sarajevo, which, together with the Institute for Youth Development KULT, will analyze its current organizational capacities. The analysis of the situation will serve as a quality basis for strategic development planning.
“It is very important for us to become aware of what we are not doing well and to correct it,” said Azra Frlj, a representative of the Association “Progres” at today’s meeting with Jasmin Bešić, director general of the Institute. In the conversation, Bešić emphasized the importance of the strategic commitment of each organization: “If an organization wants to develop, it must know in which direction it is operating, and stay on that path every day.”
The Institute will support the Association “Progres”, primarily through the determination of the index of organizational capacity development with the help of the POK™ methodology of the Institute, which will provide clear guidelines for further action.
