The fourth call for projects within the INTERREG Euro-MED program has been published – the total budget until 2027 amounts to EUR 294 million

After the informative presentation held last week, the fourth public call for submission of project proposals within the Interreg Euro-MED 2021-2027 program was announced. This call is implemented within the program priorities Smarter and Greener Mediterranean, and related specific objectives with an emphasis on testing and transfer projects.

The projects to be financed refer to four program missions:

  • Strengthening the innovative and sustainable economy,
  • Protection, restoration and valorization of natural heritage and heritage
  • Promotion of green living areas
  • Improvement of sustainable tourism

The program brings together partners from 69 regions of 14 countries on the northern coast of the Mediterranean with a common goal: a climate-neutral and resilient society for the benefit of its citizens.

– In the next seven years, together with our partners, we will work to make the region smarter, greener and improve governance among stakeholders – they say from the program.

The total program budget is about EUR 294 million for the period 2021-2027.

The invitation was published on March 12, 2024. year and remains open until 12.06. 2024 (until 1 p.m. CET), and all applications are received through the  JEMS system .
